Mentor Appointment Ceremony Held in CHL

To implement the College's "Bingwen Homeland" talent recruitment and cultivation plan, give full play to the mentoring role of senior faculty, and help newly hired young teachers build solid teaching fundamentals and enhance their course-teaching capabilities, the College of Humanities and Law held an appointment ceremony for young teachers' course guidance mentors on the afternoon of September 17.

Zhang Yanqiu and Wu Zhenjun presented certificates of appointment to the newly appointed mentors and posed for a group photograph. Each certificate marks the formal establishment of a course guidance relationship and embodies the College's responsibility and expectation of promoting the transmission of excellent teaching experience and strengthening the cultivation of young teachers. The appointed mentors will draw on their own teaching experience to provide sustained assistance in the courses they guide, helping young teachers continually improve through teaching practice.

Through this course-based mentoring mechanism, the College built a support platform for young teachers to quickly become familiar with teaching requirements and improve their classroom teaching ability.

The mentoring covers Legal Document Writing, Introduction to Linguistics, Topics in Linguistic Studies, Jurisprudence, Foreign-Related Intellectual Property Law, Private International Law, International Economic Law, Second Language Acquisition Studies, General Principles of Criminal Law, General Principles of Criminal Law (Part II), General Principles of Intellectual Property and Civil Law, reflecting the College's approach to precision training based on the characteristics of each program and the actual needs of young teachers.

The appointment ceremony further clarified the responsibilities of mentors and the pairing relationships, and built a sound platform for exchange and mutual learning between senior and young teachers. By pairing senior with junior and excellence with excellence, the College closely integrates the transmission of teaching experience with the professional growth of young teachers, further strengthening the cohesion of the faculty.
