CHL Meets with Anbo Law Firm

To fully implement the University's "Pioneer Plan" and advance the College's work of expanding employer outreach, a delegation from the College of Humanities and Law recently visited Beijing Ambo (Tianjin) Law Firm, an alumnus enterprise.

Zhang Jun, director of Anbo Law Firm, delivered a warm welcome, expressed his gratitude for the College's strong support, and gave a detailed introduction to the firm's history, practice areas and team. He stressed that Ambo has a young and highly experienced team of lawyers whose practice areas closely match the College's academic orientations. He said the firm would fully leverage its practical strengths in civil and commercial affairs, finance and criminal law, participate deeply in the whole process of the College's talent development, and help build the College.

Vice President Wu Zhenjun then introduced the College's overall development, its three departments, and the construction of the Law School, highlighting the School's achievements in fostering innovation, industry-academia-research integration and international collaboration, as well as its strong faculty and international competitiveness in legal practice education. Party Secretary Zhang Yanqiu concluded by summarizing the achievements of the School over the past year, expressing gratitude to the partner institutions, and affirming that the School had entered a period of rapid development.

CHL and the firm discussed opportunities for further cooperation, including joint legal clinics, internships for students and lawyers, and collaborative legal research projects. Both sides agreed to promote the construction of a long-term university-enterprise cooperation mechanism.
